I also find it incredibly disturbing how you oppose civil and open dialogue because the alternative is violence and force. Do you want to be a civilized person and talk things though even though they are unpleasant, or do you want to be an uncivilized savage?

Anyone who in 2020 would still consider voting for Trump is not someone who can be won round by just being nice to them.

If they're supporting Trump because they genuinely think he's a great leader or even a good human being then they are objectively terrible people just like he is.

And if their motive for voting for Trump is petty spite because the 'other side' aren't being nice enough to them, then they can go fuck themselves wholeheartedly because they're pathetic infantile dolts.

Theres your problem.

Looking at your past couple of posts it sounds like a lot of the things you want us to acknowledge as a diversity of ideas are actually violent. I mean you essentially said that in a free society its ok to be homophobic.

abmis wrote:Yes, it's true that Republicans tend to disagree with the gay lifestyle, and in a free society like America, THAT'S OK!!!

I am all for respecting a diversity of ideas and open dialogue, but within fucking reason.

If you try to take my own freedom away, or create institutions and an economic system that is based upon exploitation and violence then fuck no I am afraid that is NOT OK!!!

In such cases it might even warrant the use of violence in the self defence of freedom and non-violence.

Anyway political discussions online never end well for me so if you disagree well tough titties the bourgeoisie and their bootlickers will just have to acknowledge my diversity of ideas that I think they should be fucking guillotined. :finger:

So to be open minded one has to pretend that dumb opinions are respectable and treat ideas like mere color preferences?

But yeah. I refuse to treat with respect any opinion that, if put into practise in terms of government policy and action, would actively deny me rights and freedoms just because I like a dick down me throat.

For the most part. You don't have to agree, but you have to accept people for who they are for holding such conflicting views. Of course, what you define as "dumb" on the other side is pretty naive and simplistic, but fundamentally yes! It's the price you pay for living in a free society. Again, we've already won the social issues debate when it comes to LGBTQ+ rights. Public opinions have radically shifted for people as a whole in America to be in favor of gay marriage and gays having equal rights as everyone else, which includes some conservatives. Also, to reiterate, on other issues other than social issues, 50% still do not agree with you folks! You can not escape that reality.

Just for the record, I'm gay Asian man, I'm a dick and cum whore, and I wear leather harnesses and thongs at Pride Parades. Lol. Also, I'm not a Republican! I have my fair share of criticisms on those guys too. I am not a traitor to our community or any other minority groups than you guys might think. I guess the key difference between you folks and I is our ultimate aims in politics. I value freedom and liberty for all individuals. You guys seem to value social justice. Fine! Cool! Yes, I despise those crazy religious and homophobic Republican politicians who want to make laws to put us down! I will gladly help fight and condemn those nut jobs! However, in the same token, those lunatics are a part of our society. Freedom is granted to everyone, not just people you like and agree with! So yeah, for example, that means I support the right of Holocaust deniers and Creationists to spout their BS, and say other reprehensible things provided they don't incite violence! You don't like what they have to say? Ignore and avoid them! Does it get on your nerves to the point you want to do something? Then debate them! Don't silence them, or ban them to speak on public arenas! That course of action makes us no different than modern Communist China! Not the type of society that I or at least any sane person in America would want to live in. Ideas should always be challenged, and they're certainly not immune from criticism whether it's your guys' views, my views, or the right winged homophobes' views. Like I stated previously, it's the price we pay for living in a free society. You can either complain, get overly emotional and militant about it (which ultimately won't resolve anything), OR just blast Bob Marley music and get on with life and never take our freedom tools for granted. That's how I see it.

Are you guys trying to mock and attack me without considering the merits of my stance which is pretty well-balanced and fairly neutral? If so, yeesh! If you guys were MMA fighters, I wouldn't be surprised if you guys considered the referee your opponent as well. LMAO!

You could do it. You all say you're pleased I became a leftist, but then you just sit back and leave the burden of whipping these hogs entirely on me.

If they were entertaining idiots I’d be tempted but all we’ve gotten are clones of mxguy01.

HAHAHAHA! You guys are so possessed by your ideology! It's comical, but I have pity for you guys too. Emotions and militant social justice matter to you guys far more than reason and critical thinking. I would be talking to a wall if I continued typing on this section of the forum. Bear in mind, I'm challenging your ideas and trying to make thought diversity acceptable, especially in a free society like ours which you guys take for granted and spit on the face of, and not you guys as individuals. Peace and Love!

Not particularly. Derek openly admitted that he was a leftist. That's the primary ethos of that ideology in a nutshell. Emotions and Social Justice. Of course, that isn't to say that there isn't a time and place for those things, but in the realm of politics and social change? Especially in our truly privileged societies that we live in today that is the West, seems pretty futile in my opinion.

Bussy isn't generally a word I tolerate. But a wise freedom tool has taught me how important it is for thought diversity to be acceptable, especially in a free society like ours. So, by all means, continue to bedeck the public sphere with garish neologisms for various parts of my anatomy that you'll never in your lifetime see.

It was a choice between risking alienating you forever and using a word that made me giggle as I typed it. History will be my judge.
