Advice: health and sexual concern

Unread postby FitM » 25 March 2020, 17:59

Hi everyone,

Just joined and hoping this will help and support me going forward.

My concern is with my ongoing issues in my bottom end and fear with relationships and the future.

I know I have to seek more professional opinion but just want reassurance and see if others have experienced the same and how they got through it.

So I've been dealing with hemmohoids on and off....aggravated with heavy gym lifting and anal sex which prevented me from having anal in the past. More recently possible anal fissure as per the doc...on creams and all and still over a month and no 100% healed.

I've seemed medical attention when it acted up...had 2 procedures down there with no cure or healing.

Till this day I am still having ongoing pains in my anal area with burning. Just does feel normal anymore which is very discouraging and frustrating...

I am afraid this will be my life now and will never find a relationship or truly be happy...

I've modified so much in my life and I'm still dealing with it. It's been over year now.

I know you guys are not healthcare professionals...

I just need to talk about it and need supprt from people whose gone through this?

Thank you in advance

Hey. Yes it's been 2 weeks now...no gym at all even cardio etc

I'm literally doing drastic things...that's how desperate I am. I am so unhappy with all if this. I just want to be normal again and live my life.

Your body will likely need longer than two weeks to recover from issues caused by a long-term lifestyle beforehand. Give yourself 6-8 weeks before you write your ass off as beyond economic repair.

However there may be a degree of likelihood that - if your issue was as a result of, or exacerbated by, excessive weight lifting - you may now have a chronic issue. Sadly, if that is the case, I’m afraid consequence is something we must all deal with for ourselves.

A Doctor will be able to offer more concrete input, of which we have none in our present regular membership.

Best of luck

Brenden is a very keen power lifter, though I’m not sure the atlas stones would recreate the same muscular strain as you’ve faced. He doesn’t really read this section though, perhaps send him a PM and just give him the details. I’m sure he’ll appreciate where you’re coming from.

Well, very similar I believe. I wanna say he was once carrying a particularly heavy stone down the course and as he raised it to put it onto the plinth, his colon completely prolapsed. I don’t know if that’s caused him an ongoing issue like yours though.

I sense Marmaduke may not be being entirely serious. I don't think anyone here has experienced the issue you're having.

I was completely honest, I said I didn’t know if Brenden had been caused a similar issue!

A Shakespearean manner, you say? Thoust hath payest me a most egregious disservice, good sir. Verily, I didst offer thou not but true and honest guidance as best I knew to address the anal betroublement occuring betwixt thy buttocks. For what does thou choose to wound me so with this harsh and unfair stain upon my name?

I'll be honest to God sincere here.

Actually an issue which I've some experience of, but for different reasons. I've severe Crohn's Disease, which means that I have similar issues, amongst other things. To the extent that I'm essentially prevented from having anal sex, at least much of the time.

As you said, there's drugs and surgical procedures which can help with this. You'd need to speak to a doctor for accurate advice, of course, but I'd suggest that you tell them your about sex issues, if you haven't already and are comfortable with doing so. I dunno, but this might change their advice. As suggested above, maybe continue to lay off weightlifting for a while. I'd think that you'd perhaps need more than two weeks, and continuous treatment with the creams and such, to see positive effects.

I know that it can be tough if there's a potential that you won't be able to have sex the way you'd like to. In the worst case scenario, however, there's plenty of other ways that you could have sex. At the moment, though, I think there might still be treatment options to pursue.

Hope this helps a little!
