Cum is more complex. Only 30% of it is produced by the homologous glands as secrete female lubrication. It’s meant to be alkali to neutralise the normally acidic vaginal fluids (and hence prevent harm to sperm). Alkali things tend to taste bitter while acidic things tend to taste fresh/crisp.

I can confirm the pineapple thing works. As does mango and a number of other sweet fruits. Not all though, oddly enough.

Asparagus will also give a distinct asparagus taste to cum, in my, admittedly limited experience. Coffee makes cum a tad bitter too.
