Interesting. I've never thought of myself as particularly masculine. Do you really consider that wisp on my lip a stache? Well, thank you.

Well whatever it is, it looks great! I can’t grow one so other people’s facial hair always fascinated me.

Minoxidil (5%+ foam or liquid) helps. My facial hair was really patchy until I used that for a while to fill it in. Now I've got pretty good coverage, better in some spots than Brenden who is otherwise very hairy. :D

Aww, shucks. Yeah, I'm a sucker for facial hair, too ... literally.

Costco probably has it for cheap under their Kirkland brand, and you can also generally find people reselling that on eBay and sometimes other smaller brands for far less than e.g. "Rogaine" costs. The foam version is easiest to use :) (though slightly more expensive than the liquid version).

I think its the 'hyper' part. I like masculinity but hyper to me, means excessive. Too much. I like effeminate guys too but I would very likely hate hyper effeminate guys :runaway:

It's the idea of taking something to an extreme. Some people might like extreme but I can totally see how it would carry negative connotations.

I admit a guy can have too much muscle, or too much body hair, or be too well endowed, or like sports too much, yada yada yada ... to the extent that it's a turn off, but I wouldn't call that toxic or negative. At least those physical traits don't necessarily reflect personality except on a very superficial level. But being insecure, aggressive or controlling are not exclusively masculine traits; toxic, sure, but women can have them, too.

Just wiki'd "hypermasculinity" and I have to retract it. It is indeed a specialized term employed in psychology to describe what is more currently known as toxic masculinity: 1. callous sexual attitudes towards women; 2. belief that violence is manly; and 3. finding danger exciting. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypermasculinity]

So, to everyone, especially Jryski, apologies. It is NOT what I meant. What I meant by "hypermasculinity" was all the physical traits that I associate with the masculine: body and facial hair, broad shoulders and deep chests, thick arms and thighs, and perhaps some of the stereotypical trappings like blue collar, sports or biker camp. And if these stereotypes offend anyone, I'm sorry. They are just what get my juices flowing.

Well, being male is easy for me. What's not easy is being gay.. So I thing I would find a pill that would just make everyone around me gay, or atleast my crushes.

For admirers of the Tom of Finland type of guys there is. Look at many men who are around in the common leather clubs and 'big bear' or hairy dad lovers and that like. Probably will depend on the span position in the 'hyper' a bit.

Although we've got a term that says 'supermasdculinity' also, but that's usually associated with XYY chromosomal anomality, Jacobs syndrome.

Any time someone mentions "hairy dad lovers", I start to hyperventilate just a little
