Obvious relationship take tons of work and you shouldnt sleep around but i have heard horror stories of people soaking tampons in alochol and putting it in there anusea to get drunk quicker.

A family member based in the uk said this is also because your breath doesnt smell of booze

Is this true or a load of codswallop ?

It's true, it's called an alcohol enema, you SHOULD NOT DO IT, because there's a very big risk that if you abuse it you will die of alcohol poisoning, plus it can't be good for your colon. What happens is that your colon is made of very thin walls that that absorb liquids very fast and run it directly to your bloodstream instead of passing it through your kidneys where most of the filtering happens. As you can see, this will make you drunk super fast, but it also has no safety mechanisms like kidney filtering.

Can I get sick from swallowing cum?
It depends on how you define “sick.” Can you get STDs from swallowing cum? Yup! Bacterial infections that are spread through semen, like gonorrhea and chlamydia, can infect the throat.

There is a very, very small chance of HIV transmission from having semen in your mouth (if there’s a cut in your mouth that provides an entry point for the virus, for example). And oral sex without a condom, whether or not semen shows up to the party, puts you at risk for skin-to-skin STDs, like herpes. But if you and your partner have both been tested, are STD-free, and are totally monogamous, no worries there.

As far as other illnesses go, semen isn’t dangerous to swallow. But everyone’s body is different, and some people discover they don’t like the way swallowing semen makes them feel. Rarely, people may have semen allergies or sensitivities that can cause nausea and discomfort when semen is swallowed, and irritation when other body parts are exposed.

Others may simply be grossed out by the taste of semen or the experience of swallowing. Bottom line: if swallowing semen makes you feel sick or you just plain don’t like it: don’t do it! Consider alternatives like using condoms (flavored ones are great for oral sex), spitting instead of swallowing, or having your partner ejaculate away from your mouth.

But if you like swallowing and feel just dandy afterward: bottoms up! There’s nothing to stress about (as long as you’re keeping STD prevention in mind).

Lube just makes everything that much better, pleasurable, and helps get things going when nerves might be at play. We've tried a bunch and a silicone formula is the way to go- it's the healthier option being hypoallergenic, fewer ingredients w/o preservatives, and it lasts way longer than even the best water-based ones out there. Also, once you get the swing of things, you can use it in the shower/hot-tub which can be a fun little thing to look forward to. The one we've been using is called Penchant Premium and it's on Amazon. Highly recommended! Hope this helps, love you guys.

Guys, I found this article on bbc.com dated July 7th.

http://www.bbc.com/news/health-40520125 ... e=facebook

It's basically saying that oral sex is causing Gonorrhea to become really drug resistant because Gonorrhea of the throat can be confused with common throat infections and because of that, it's becoming really hard to treat.

There have even been three completely untreatable cases so far, and it's adapting so quickly to therapy that in the past 15 years alone, it has had to be changed three times.

From the article:

Dr Manica Balasegaram, from the Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership, said: "We are now at a point where we are using the drugs of last resort, but there are worrying signs as treatment failure due to resistant strains has been documented."

I've been out of touch with biology for a while but I had an idea that pathogens are becoming drug resistant. Didn't know it was that serious.. Or maybe the article is too doomsday-like and we shouldn't all wean ourselves off dick?

Either way, I'm just putting it here because I thought this could be useful.

I always thought it was called Safer Sex, not Safe Sex. Because no form of sex can be safe (as in 100% safe, 0% risk)?

Bingo. Even with the CDC statement admitting that undetectable = uninfectious FOR HIV, that has nothing to do with other STD's. It's a miracle that pills can treat and prevent HIV, but there are a whole host of other bugs too.
