Practical tips for your booty

Unread postby Spacekitty » 15 May 2020, 15:30

Reading up about bottoming and butt health can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. Perhaps we can share our own personal tips and tricks we found that works well. I'll mention a few of mine:

* Anal fissures (a small tear on your butthole) is one of the things I hate most. A simple, small think I found to help prevent them is being careful of what I wash myself with. I don't use soap on my butthole. I'll shower but won't go between my butt cheeks. Once done washing I'll rinse and then put some cheap, flavoured lube on my fingers and "wash" my butthole and rinse. Soap dries the skin out. It's not such a weird concept. Most of us use a special product just to wash our face. Why not infest in a cheap lube for your hole. It really is a little "self cleaning oven". It doesn't need harsh hygienic cleaning. I use to get a little tear like once or twice a month. Now it's like once of twice A YEAR if any.

* The past 3 years or so there has been a massive wave of "FIBER" awareness. Pureformen and similar fiber supplement product finally put fiber on the map. Fiber really helps to pull all the particles together so that when you poop, as much as possible will be expelled from your booty at the same time. You really don't have to opt for expensive supplements. Here in South Africa I buy one from my local pharmacy which also has psylluim husk in it which I really like. Psylluim husk coats your guts helping the fibre when it compacted all the goodies to move it along easier. Helps you to also "go" much easier and with less effort when your doing a nr 2 (and we all know - less pressure, less chance of micro tearing!) I weirdly also kinda found that it helps with intercourse. Lol! Helps with some "natural" lubrication on the inside (no guys, it doesn't replace lube! ). I take one capsule with each substantial meal I have. PS I have heard of people for whom fiber supplements just does not work. That said, if it does the pros to it are really awesome. Worth a shot.

* Simple rule - the more you play with yourself and use toys like plugs and dildos or have sex, the looser you will be and the easier you'll be able to open up. The less, the tighter you'll be. Tight isn't always a good thing and tears can be painful. Did you know the muscles that forms your butthole (sphincters) are from the same biological "family" as the muscle around your lips (the lips on your face! ) and the muscle that opens and closes the pupils of your eyes? Do you ever see them stretch "too much" and be stretched out? No. Don't believe the urban legends that your hole will stretch out from to much anal action. Your eyes hurt from watching to much TV. Your mouth hurt from sucking on to many lollipops and your butt will hurt from tooooo much action. But your butt will heal just like your willy did from to much wanking.

* Cleaning out your butt really it's always necessary. As you probably know the rectum is the last part of your digestive system before your butthole and only really have anything in it when you have to do a nr2. For some guys a lubed finger or two is enough to just crosscheck the exit  . Planning a really nice, long session of buttplay and you're a bit worried and want to make sure it's all clean? Then use a douche from a sex shop or the pharmacy with clear, running water. I have found using more that 150ml of water at a time is overkill and just open the second part of your digestive system moving more unnecessary stuff down. And wait a little bit before intercourse. There might a little bit of water left but your body will absorb most of it in an hour or 2. Little trick - I once bought a 150ml plastic syringe. Super easy to clean, easier to operate and very cheap. If you can't find a 150ml, try the 60ml ones and just use it 3 times before pushing the water out. Replace it on a regular bases

* You've probably heard before that you should really only worry about your rectum (first part inside you) being "open and available" because that's the only space the dildo or penis will pretty much go. Ever looked at an human body diagram and think... this doesn't make sense... a boner is longer than that rectum on this picture. Here's the thing - your colon does expand. Next time you douche put your finger in while the water is still in you. You'll be amazed how wide the space inside you is. And just as much as it expands to the sides, that space can also move up buddy. And looking at the diagram again you realize that second half is kinda not being accessed when he's straight up inside you. Makes more sense hey.

* Heard of numbing lube? Use it carefully. It helps you not feel the pain and to take the "punch" easier. That said you feel pain because you need to know your threshold. If your booty can't tell you things are getting out of hand you can get really hurt. I personally made the mistake once and decided to never use it again. Took me a good 3 weeks to recover completely and back to my little buddies old self. It really just doesn't justify the risk for me personally.

There are a few things I learn about my booty way to late in life because I, like most guys, never had someone to give them some tips and tricks about your sexual health as a gay guy. Dads and Moms traditionally know about periods, tampons, condoms, vaginas and willies - and even that they didn't really talk about. Booty health wasn't even on the list to begin with.

All the above might not be for everyone but I shared the little bits of info I found useful on my journey.

These are some really helpful information, thanks :)! Can you maybe give some additional tips regarding pain-free anal sex (except of using enough lube and taking it slowly)? I would be really curious about your past experiences regarding that matter.

Thanks for your kind post buddy. :)

I have found over the years the greatest thing I lacked as a younger guy was understanding the link between my butthole and my mind. Thinking back it was actually so bloody self-explanatory! I have now realised that I had way more control of it than I understood. Here's the thing - Then I was very young I would literally only touch that part of my body with a washcloth or toilet paper. Your body has a reflex to your butthole being touched almost like a person being pocked in the side and getting a fright. Recall my suggestion in my original post to use flavoured lube to wash with using your fingers? Perfect opportunity to get to understand your butthole and brain connection. You'll probably notice in the beginning you clench very easily and quickly. Your fingers helps you a lot to actually feel what your butthole does when you touch it. Take it slow and stroke it softly whiles breathing, relaxing and opening your ring up. Allow your mind to explore your sense of sensual control. Try purposefully connect with what your fingers are feeling and what your butthole is feeling from your fingers's touch. I found just that different way of washing my butthole daily has help so much to get my mind to understand how to relax my ring and to help my butthole to be less inclined to clench up the moment something touches it.

Nr1 for me is training your mind to control your ring. But that said I have also found a few other tricks that worked well.

For me a warm bath or shower does wonders. Warm water relaxes your muscles. You're butthole is a muscle and it also relaxes. A warm bath or shower with help you open up so much easier.

The other plus side to the warm water step is that your butt will be squeaky clean and besides the possibility that he's probably be more into giving you a sweet rimjob, you'll would also probably be more comfortable asking for a rimjob. :keke: Don't get me wrong - there is quite something about the bitter, sweet and sweat smell of anal sex (and each dude has he's own odor) but this just leads well into the subject. The natural odors of a man will always be magical.

This leads me to that other interesting thing - foreplay. Don't underestimate it. From smooching and rubbing up against each other to more intimate stuff like rimming and fingering - it all aids in getting you able to relax your butthole better. The more aroused you are at the point of penetration, the greater the chances of you opening up to your max with what you know at that time. And needless to say, you're pain threshold will probably be a little higher as well. Also, don't let him just shove it in. That shit is for porn. It's not real. Even suggest him holding the tip of his cock against your hole for like 5 seconds. Get to feel him there before he actually goes in. Nothing wrong about taking a bit at a time as well. And what also helps is just before he goes in clench your butthole real tight and then immediately relax, open best you can and let him in - at YOUR pace.

Another really interesting idea is playing with your butthole earlier before you are together. A nice 10 minute dildo or buttplug session can make a world's difference. Remember that I said in my original post about the more you do it, the easier you'll open up? Same applies here. You're butthole will retain some muscle memory from the playtime. If you don't have the time to do it, or it's to much effort, or your just really worried you'll be to horny and want to cum while playing - get a buttplug with a base that easily goes between your cheeks. I attached a photo here. Relax and try get it in - and keep it in! :D Muscle memory will build up and went it's time you pull it out and ready to go like a real sex machine. I would suggest having it in for at least 30 minutes for maximum result. Not only will you know it's there and it will get you really horny, he'll also be surprised and the thought will have his engine revving really high. I once did this before going out for the evening - not telling him about it. Halfway through the evening I told him my little secret. It made him so wild and horny. He fucked me hard and so long when we got home that I'm surprised I didn't get pregnant after that night.

Gosh, I rambled on a lot here. Again, these are just my little pieces of knowledge that I picked up over the years which worked for me. And sorry if I come across as really passionate about it all, but I just feel really strongly about good booty health. A lot of guys struggle with a lot of things around the subject because no one told was there for some advise. To this day way to many guys gets physically hurt purely due to ignorance. My little attempt to help the community...

I recalled this morning an interesting "rule" I once heard a guy have for when he knows he should rather not bottom.

He called it the "Rule of 2s". The rules says that he believes he should rather not bottom if he did a nr 2 in the last 2 hours of haven't done a nr 2 in the last 2 days.

LOL! Found it quite interesting... and probably not that far fetched.

They also cost an absolutely ridiculous amount of money. The primary ingredient (psyllium husk powder) can be purchased in bulk for pennies a serving on Amazon or eBay or wherever, and the optimal amount of it is much more than the expensive supplements' serving size.

It should also be mentioned that there are two broad categories of fibre and they're both important. Psyllium husk is made of a soluble fibre, which dissolves in water and forms a gel. Insoluble fibre, also called roughage, is equally important for forming healthy bowel movements.

Douching is dangerous to the rectum's health, and a major risk factor for STI transmission like HIV, Hepatitis, etc. (René recently showed me a study that found it increases STI transmission almost 3x.)

It washes away the mucus lining, drying out the rectal walls, which leads to tearing/fissures. Over time, this also makes it more dirty because the mucus lining is what allows bowel movements to pass through smoothly. You essentially become dependant on douching to ever be clean.

I definitely agree. I should have added that. I avoid douching as much as I can. Really a ones in a blue moon thing for me.

:awesome: I don't know if this is the place to mention this, but the last time I had anal sex, my partner told me that I was wet down there. So he was able to penetrate with no problem. Foreplay really works. By the time I got done working him over I was wet enough to let him penetrate with no lube. It was a fantastic session.

I think the anal gland of the human can also produce fluid but I am not exactly sure how :D
