Do you have a favorite food you cannot live without?

I cannot live where there are no Amish or Mennonite people. Not because I like to hang out with them but rather because of the food they make. When they came here from the German speaking regions of Europe centuries ago they brought with them a very special breed of cow. The milk and cream from this cow makes heavenly tasting butter, cheese and chocolate. Any recipe that calls for a dairy product is exponentially better with the milk and cream from this cow. And then they make the best tasting sausages -wursts in the world. It amazes me that they can take the absolute dregs of the beef and pork and transform into a sausage that tastes far better than filet mignon.
Then they make awesome cabbages and krauts . And wonderful pies, pastries,
The down side is that their food is jam packed full of FAT, LARD, SALT, SUGAR, CHOLESTERAL, CALORIES, TRIGLYCERIDES and everything else that is unhealthy.

Right now? Korean food. It’s so diverse and interesting.

Speaking of food, I really enjoyed watching this. I’ve noticed this shift into seeking more authentic gastronomic experiences.
