Gay Porn Advertising

Please explain to me the "logic" of of posting Heterosexual commercials on Homosexual gay porn sites.
If I'm searching for GAY porn, a naked woman is going to turn me off.
I just don't understand WHY this keeps happening.
I'm not going to "convert" as I'm born attracted to the same sex- even if it's taboo.
I can't explain it, it's always been how I feel. First boyfriend was third grade- it is what is.
So why do these advertising agencies keep plugging a GAY website with STRAIGHT porn, that contradicts our desires, let alone lifestyle?
Are there THAT many straight guys cruising gay porn, that need to be turned back to Heterosexuality, that warrant the expense?
I just don't get it...
Opinions, comments? Please enlighten me...

Have you considered starting a parliamentary petition?

Actually I'd sign it just so they are forced to debate banning straight porn ads in gay porn.

I use Xvideos, and after you pick "gay" on the filter, all the ads change their target as well, so I don't have the same problem as you.

But anyway, it's just some algorithm doing a poor job, as it always has. It's kind of stupid to be angry at a computer.

EDIT: Also, an adblocker. Almost forgot!

Do you not think it’s a little self-interested to assume it’s only homosexual men with a 100% interest in male-only sex that are viewing the same content as you?

I would perhaps assert that your desires are perhaps not reflective of the broadest range of needs and wants that the particular porn-peddling website you use encounters. It’s just good business that they target what their tracking data is telling them generates more clicks.

I’m a gay man. I’ll share with you a little secret; I’m not averse to straight porn from time to time.

Try and get yourself out of the headspace that just because you don’t like a thing, nobody could like a thing. It’s a shitty outlook on the world that will only see you finding more and more things frustrating.

If you don’t like that a particular website is serving you recommendations not to your taste, it is not the responsibility of the service to adapt to meet your needs. Especially when you’re not paying for it. Look elsewhere. You’re not entitled to curated pornography.

I... don't think that's what's happening here. I assume it's just algorithmically sold banner/video ads taken from the relatively small pool of companies who want to advertise on porn sites, along with still mercifully inaccurate targeting. This is not the conspiracy you're looking for. Could be wrong, though, I've no idea how advertising works online.

They're turning the frickin gays straight!
