Only you could find yourself bored by flavour.

I also need to alternate at least 4 different kinds of breakfast cereal day by day to avoid progressively getting bored of them.

Am I a freak?

I imagine it has something to do with my difficulty maintaining a weight above about 60 kg (132 lbs, BMI 18) and the fact that most of the times when I eat (or drink for that matter), it's because I know I should, not because I feel like it.

Apple cider and brandy — the taste of fall. Whiskey or rum will do for variety.

Jack Daniels.

I’m now properly out to everyone I know, it’s a strange thing realising that I cared more than they did. I used to say I was bisexual, that’s kind Of funny now looking back. :awesome:

For me it's situational. A beer for a chatty drink (Hop House/Amstel normally), a nice NZ Sauv Blanc with dinner, gin and tonic for a night out.

The point of the thread is what you’re drinking right now.

Did René try it or did he lock himself in his room and say a few Hail Mary’s and Lord’s Prayers?

I wouldn’t subject him to alcohol and citrus. He’d never want to try anything ever again!

But the other evening he did have a sip of my White Russian.

Did his kidneys immediately shut down? Did he succumb to moral degeneracy and attack you?

Tab water.

I know, it's not much and kind of lame. yet may keep kidneys from doing all kinds of strange things, while I'm trapped in this body.

I think I'm going to get me some chamomile tea later.

Mexican hot chocolate with brandy and powdered chipotle while decorating the tree. This drink has some heat!

It' 1:15 in the afternoon so I'm still drinking coffee. In an hour and 45 minutes I'll switch over to beer. That will be my constant drink until supper time.

Coffee with Bailey's Irish Cream and whipped cream.

Which made me wonder... would it be possible to make whipped Irish cream? :P

I’m not sure it would have the fat content, would it? Only one way to find out, tell Brenden to find the whisk and get to work.

We can always increase the fat content if necessary.

If only alcoholic beverages were subject to the normal nutrition labelling so we knew what we were working with. :oface:
We may need to get Nigel Farage on this. It'll help fill out the manifesto for the Reform Party.

We could also use Brenden's Scottish Cream as a base, whose nutritional properties are well-understood.

According to the good people at Bailey’s, one serving (37ml, odd measurement) is as follows;

Calories 130
Protein 1.2g
Carbs/Sugar 7.4g
Fat 5.8g
Fibre 0g
Alcohol 5.2g

That’d be what? 15-20% fat? I think you need to get it up to 30+ before it’ll whip. So you’ll need to be mixing it at about 1-1 with double cream to get a good whip.

Cream won't whip without denatured proteins (casein) to stabilize it. Also I'm not sure if fats other than the type that make up most milk fat (triglyceride?) will cohere enough. Also also I'm pretty sure most dietary fats are soluble in ethanol so that's a non-starter.
