I just can't get on with Kale. It's soooo bitter. But cashews! Yummy. I like pecans too! Any kind of nuts really. Oh, except macadamia. Gross.
Also gross, I ate a whole giant pack of brazils a few weeks ago and shat peanut butter for days 🥜

Yeah, it was the chunky kind. I learned my lesson.René wrote:PopTart wrote:René wrote:Kale, cashew, banana, pineapple and more smoothie

Yeah, maybe don't do that.
I've never found kale stuff that's been prepared for me bitter. This smoothie was certainly sweet and nice.
Ever had kale chips? They're not hard to make. Crispy with some salt, they can be really good while retaining all the health benefits.

I've never liked Brazil nuts. They always taste either rancid or flavourless.

The roasting with olive oil removes the bitterness!

Anyway, I’m drinking a nice blend of earl grey made by Harney and Sons, called ‘Earl Grey Supreme.’ Also a couple months ago I tried Twinings’ jasmine green tea and it tastes quite good,. I’d recommend both!
Lastly, I discovered a few weeks ago that my therapist doesn’t drink tea and can pretty much count the occasions he has on his fingers. Isn’t that peculiar??

No! What a waste of chocolate.

I recently came across a YouTube foodie named Adam Radusea. He did a video about non-maple tree-sap syrups recently that blew my mind! I really want to try natural hickory and walnut syrups now.PopTart wrote:But he loves butter and so do I. Everything tastes better with butter. And salt. With more butter.
I love a nice slice of lightly-toasted sourdough with salted butter and some extra salt sprinkled on top.PopTart wrote:I'm staying under my bmi for "overweight" but only just.
You should try intermittent fasting. Even just one day a week of fasting can really improve your metabolism by soft resetting insulin tolerance. Also/or, keeping eating to an 8-hour window with 16 hours of no eating a day (including sleeping).

I get the impression they are super bad for you. Which means they should be yummy right?
