I need to find a new place to live. Somewhere quieter where I can get an uninterrupted nights sleep.

I found the sweet spot, just outside the city but before the country side. It's nice and quiet at night plus the rent is a little cheaper than the city.

Yeah I thought I’d found the perfect place but I guess it all depends on the people around you. I think I need to find somewhere detached!

I'm starting to be concerned by the amount of times I've looked at a guy, found him really cute, only to then find out he's like 16 years old.

You reminded of something that made me feel so weird. There is this kid who live nearby who isn't a kid anymore (22-23). I didn't pay him attention (because why I would pay any attention to a random kid) but I just realized he is grown into this insanely cute guy and I am very attracted to him. I know he is gay but I feel it's wrong to like him because I still picture him as this small kid. Also his dad works with mine so both would kill me if we dated but that's besides the point.

Now I'm thinking about a way to casually hang out with him without putting my life on the line.

I don’t know if I’ve said this before but I truly despise John Oliver’s style of comedy. It’s like explaining jokes to three-year-olds.

I think that's normal. I've heard arguments, in fact, that say "no problem" as long as you don't pursue a relationship.

One thing that sort of creeps me out is seeing an old TV show or movie, and having this happen:
-Notice a good looking guy.
-Realize: "He looks like he's 20, so he's too young!"
-A moment later: "But this show was filmed in 1965, so that guy is actually old enough to be my father."

I mean it's literally only celebrities that this happens with.

I enjoy his writers’ new rules segment. But don’t be jealous, I also like your brand do comedy.

So I see what this think piece is getting at about how society tends to exalt straight artists as woke queer icons rather than the queers themselves but it’s missing something important in that assessment and it’s something that Hunter once pointed out — queers are jealous of their own artists so they’d rather see a straight, cis artist triumph than one of their own.

The couch is such a nice place to go to sleep. Propping your feet up on a couch arm is the best. :keke:

I thought of him, when I followed the Viking/Christian related site about excavations on bound Jesus figurines at crosses. He would have seen an astronaut with a funny backpack or even rocket boosters on the back. :D
Nowadays he seems to have gone even more lunatic and down the whole conspiracy lane on governments that don't publish facts and all that.

I must admit that I've never actually properly read any of his work, I've just seen his major claims regarding extraterrestrial influence on human prehistory. I'm professionally obliged to say that I don't agree with his interpretations, but my personal opinion is less conciliatory: he's a total fraud. :P

Erich van Däniken, aye, he's what they call a conspiracy theorist par example, not excellence.
The works are more like an excursion through various attempts to interpret with a nudge toward e.t. fantasies. I guess, Ridley Scott might be a fan. All them movie ideas about the 'engineers' and all that stuff seems to have a Von Däniken rudiment in it.
I think at times Von Däniken revoked some of his theories, but then he came back on some, too. Must keep the business running, I guess.

Sorry for the late response. Have not felt that well in the days. I guess I go toward melancholy, and people commonly do not appreciate that a mindset. So I retract and make way for everyone rather happy. I like happy people, and the world belongs to them. ;)
