It's nice to have access to quality museum -- looted antiquities aside.

Not quite as grand as some of the British Museum exhibits. But some good stuff there too.

It's on my list of London museums I want to see or go back to. Next up is the Natural History Museum, I haven't been there in well over a decade.

I was never a fan of the natural history museum. It was alright but I found alot more to love elsewhere. But then, taxidermy and old bones was never my thing. Don't much like zoos either.

Maybe I'm zoophobic? 🤔

I can't remember if it was the science museum I liked when I was younger, it's exhibits might not have aged well/been updated much since I was last there, but it too would be a good place for nerdtatsic wanderings (potentially)

Come to think of it, the only museum I really didn't like was the National Gallery. Room after cavernous room full of paintings, that I lacked the capacity to appreciate. Art has never really spoken to me. Then there was the people milling about, whispering in hushed tones as if we were all in the depths of some sacred space. :pfft:

Philistine, I know.

The pantry had laundry soap and toilet paper, and sugar cookies that wasn’t stale. Chicken breast, pretzel, oh and pumpkin flavor hummus, that taste like pumpkin pie!

Yes! Oh and banana nut bread. It’s nice we can get stuff like this. We like to make sure the kids have food and stuff. We all get food stamps but sometimes it’s not enough.

Now you just have to resist eating it all! :runaway:

I’m more worried about the kids eating it all in one sitting ha. But I’m resisting. I’m down to around 148 lbs and trying to keep myself from gaining weight.

For the first time in a long time I'm actually having a day where I think I look good, and not absolutely fucking ugly as sin.

Splash on the ombré leather and revel in it.

The sidewalks have finally been plowed here, which means catching the bus isn’t unpleasant and dangerous anymore! :D

I've been wanting to go to the V&A Dundee for ages. I'm particularly annoyed that I missed the video games exhibition in 2019.

The kids don’t have school tomorrow… I get to sleep in and dont have to walk the kids to school in 10 degrees Fahrenheit weather in the snow and ice.

Husband and I got the booster shot today and don’t have any reactions to that besides a sore arm.

The Roosters, a chicken wing restaurant, came over to our neighborhood in a food truck with free chicken wings, fries, and pop and water today. They allowed as many as we wanted. Others came back for seconds and was there between 11am to 1pm.

Finally, fucking finally, actually sought the advice of my doctor about my mental health. By which I mean I filled out a big online consultation and am now waiting on them to contact me about it and see what ends up happening from there.

But it's a step, and one I kind of always assumed I never thought I'd ever end up making. God knows how it's going to go, but I'm still kind of proud of myself for finally doing something!
