Quite right! For which reason I consider both sorts of actions to be beneath me.

I had a dream where I was an undead wraith. Being able to fly with good maneuvering was fun. :keke:

It's the Oscars? Does anyone know except a handful of elderly gay men who are tuning in just to hate watch?

ATTENTION: DOG LOVERS EVERYWHERE

New home wanted for dispossessed dog. Can be distant but loves cuddles, good guard dog, but bark is worse than bite. Will need supervision or will wander into neighbours garden

But it's a step, and one I kind of always assumed I never thought I'd ever end up making. God knows how it's going to go, but I'm still kind of proud of myself for finally doing something!

I'm proud of you too!!! :keke:

Derek wrote:I've been taking minoxidil and finasteride for a month and already there's substantial regrowth all along my hairline. I wish I started taking them sooner, but I'm glad I didn't start any later.

Yay!

I ended up getting myself some finasteride too, at least to take while my increased minoxidil dosage takes effect. (Not covered by the NHS but only paid £49 ($64) with free prescription & shipping for 168 x 1 mg. Not too bad.)

My hair loss was never really noticeable (I stayed on top of it as much as possible right from the start), but mine too has definitely halted and, I think, started reversing a bit. :keke:

The finasteride does seem to be impacting my libido / spontaneous erections somewhat, though. Hopefully I won't be depending on it long-term.

On the bright side, with the oral minoxidil, my upper leg hair is finally filling in and I swear I saw the early beginnings of about 5 abdominal hairs the other day. About bloody time.

:awesome:

Well, about £70 above retail price. Brand new too.

That said, I'm not entirely sure why I bought it, because I haven't had the time to game lately

I think upgrading my pc has become something I just do, without thinking about it.

Wow, awesome! Just be aware they're sometimes fake new, having actually been used for ages for cryptocurrency mining and repackaged. Where did you buy it from?

Now, if you were to be interested in making about £70/month (or £30/month after electricity costs ¸these days ¸— thanks Putin — but more if you keep the bitcoin and the value rises), install NiceHash QuickMiner and get mining yourself when not gaming :D
Tax-free, and you get free heat too!

Anyway, hope you have fun with it :keke:

Oh, well, while unable to sleep, yet also incapable of thinking through philosophical problems (with a sufficient degree of quality), I decided to re-read some of McTaggart's Some Dogmas of Religion. (This was a couple hours ago.) I stumbled across a few passages that I especially like, and which I find quite beautiful and admirable. Reading some of them brought a smile to my face, whereas reading the others I liked brought me to tears—tears which were born of a few different emotions.

I can't say how grateful I am to have long ago stumbled upon McTaggart's works. He truly is the one person, and indeed also the one philosopher, whose heart yearns for the realization of a vision of reality just as is mine. His remarks, thoughts, and arguments, on love, metaphysics, and friendship, all alike delight me and fill me with a sense that I'm reading the words of one who would know perfectly the demands of my heart (not in a romantic or sexual sense, mind you)

Anyway, that's all! I'll not go on, since I doubt anyone wants to hear me praise McTaggart or his works any more than I already have.

Had a great day off today and got started on a top-down tile set of a temperate forest. Graphic design and illustrations can be quite relaxing.

I work in recreation/travel, so my work is my clients' play. Today I was reminded of how little it takes to nudge most people out of their routine into relaxation. I had a mother/son private trip, and they had not seen each other in 5 years; as he is in the military and has been stationed overseas. They just needed some time together in a new setting, and I was happy to provide that. My job is to help nature work its magic.

I was flipping through channels on my tv and on one channel, it was playing one of the films I had seen in my classic film class in college. I watched part of it and started remembering the discussions we had in the class and the reactions from my classmates during the silly parts. This classic film class was really cool and I enjoyed seeing films that I never thought of watching before.

On this week’s days off I have been doing an absolute ton of audio work. I have gone through over 125 copyright-friendly BGM tracks and modified them so they’re correctly formatted and loop properly for use in the game. :D
