I don't have a specific diagnosis. It has become worse over the past few years. I seem to react to everything. It is probably a combination of bad genetics and damage caused by the harsh drugs I have had to take to treat all of my other problems.

That'll do it. Meds can be hell on the digestive system.

I'm sorry to hear it.

Have you tried to cut out things that might exacerbate the problem? Smoking, coffee etc?

Definitely cut back on sugar and artificial sweetener such as aspartame. Aspartame is artificial sugar sweetener in 'sweet & low', diet sodas, and other low sugar labeled products.

Sugar & artificial sugars in general are not healthy for the human body.

Also drink plenty of water. Natural water is healthier than all other drinks.

Twitter can make anyone feel bad about themselves. Oddly enough, tumblr's gotten pretty cool now.

Not that I’m obsessively bummed but Facebook is down today. Along a few other social media stuff. I got my TikTok to entertain me.

Well... because Facebook owns virtually All of the Social Media sites, if Facebook servers are down, so is the majority of Social Media.

Hopefully it's because they need to somehow make sure the users are at least 13 & learn to stop targeting girls to commit suicide.

It’s back up… curious to what would happen if Facebook mainly and other social media’s shut down permanently.

That's an interesting question... Gen Z'ers (probably) won't know how to "like" someone anymore, unless they learn to physically interact with each other.

Worst-case: A school elective - "How to interact w/o the phone 101"?

Social Media has done so much psychological damage to children, especially Gen Z'ers & A'ers. The AI that runs facebook & the rest of social media has been blown out of proportion. It doesn't recognize how to interact with the users. If you & your bff love & share everything in common, but one randomly questions something different, AI is going to drag whoever into looked at that different thing so heavily that AI can, or will destroy your friendship.

Example: If you both supported Biden & hated Trump (or vice versa), if one of you looks at what an opposing political group is saying about the other candidate, the AI will then see that slight interest. Then the AI will rub the interests of the opposing point of view so hard into their social media life, that you & your bff can, or will express total opposition to each other; which can result in the end of the friendship. This has been known about for such an extended amount of time. However, because there are No Regulations, social media can do whatever they want.

It's critical to also understand that because Social Media is Free, especially facebook & their companies, they will SELL You as a Product to the companies or groups that have business accounts. This is how you & your bff's relationship can end. It's because one of you simply looked at the opposing party's social media group. Businesses & online support groups know that if they pay more, they'll get more Product (aka You) sold to them.

Major social media and messaging platforms Facebook doesn’t own: Twitter, Discord, LinkedIn, Telegram, Signal, Snapchat, iMessage, TikTok, Tumblr, Skype, Zoom.

I stated Virtually. In the US social media is primarily defined by Facebook, their companies, and a few others like TikTok & Twitter; specifically the ones that have the biggest impact on people in their personal life. You mentioned messaging services, which have nothing to do with the media platforms that you can post personal information or can temporarily supply personal information on.

Forget about that...

Something else to frown about... too bad these TikTok videos never got any true attention outside of our community.

It can be hard to maintain self esteem when you see all these young, nubile men or muscular adonis, having perfectly choreographed sex

All I can say, is that I bet they too get pimples, leave shit on their partners dicks from time to time and likely pass gas, that is just as deadly and eye watering, as everyone elses. :P

I guess, when I feel like I'm not good enough in comparison, remembering that they only seem perfect, can make me feel much better.

I had to deal with a really scammy Karen tonight. She gave me a written list of things to fix in the room, and I did fix them all. She and her husband did talk about me in the third person while I was fixing the issues, which while positive things were said, did creep me out. :blargh:

Someday I'll learn that punching walls is not a good way of expressing anger or frustration, especially at work.

Today, however, is not that day.

It really fucking hurt.
