Bottoming Issue

So I'm a little new of this, but I think this is where I need to start. A little over a year ago I was having sex with my boyfriend, at the time it was a hook up, I was the bottom. I ended up going out of town the next day and found out that I had a anal fissure. For those who don't know what that is, it is a very deep rip into my anal cavity. That was one hell of an excruciating week. When I came back I thought I would take a month or two and let it heal up fully. Now it has been over a year and bottoming still really hurts, like a ton. No amount of poppers, lube or anything else will help. Mind you, before this, I was a pro at bottoming. I have done a lot with other men while I bottomed and it was always fun and it never really hurt. Why is it so hard to bottom now? I have seen a doctor and they don't know what to tell me? I miss bottoming so much and it has but a knife in my relationship that he hasn't gotten to top. Is there a surgery I should try or something? Has anyone else had this problem?

So you’ve sought and received professional medical advice and think that we - some random, unqualified strangers on the internet - might be better suited to solve your medical issue?

Nope! Never had this problem. I think the doctors know more than we on here do. I'm sorry you got hurt.

It is possible that scartissue makes it tight and whenever that get stretched, it hurts, and might even make micro rips that get infected.
You need to see a proctologist. That is a specialist in colon, rectum and anus. They can do specific exams to see what is going on.
