Eva Longoria is hosting? I hope they don’t alienate white voters. They should have someone they can relate to, like TikToker Bryce Hall or self-avowed heterosexual Shawn Mendes.

Edit: Jesus, what is Andrew Cuomo rambling on about? I feel embarrassed and my brain doesn’t even process such an emotional response.

I get that people are disappointed with getting stuck with Biden, but bottom line, we have to elect him or we'll end up with another conservative supreme court judge when RBG finally dies or retires and a cabinet full of corrupt Trump cronies. Can we not make the same mistake we made with Hillary and Trump? Yes Hillary is a corrupt bitch too, but at least she pretended to care and might have appointed some decent people. It's either one step forward and two steps back with Biden or 100 steps back and World War 3 with Trump.

Why didn't RBG retire 8 years ago? It's like she decided to hold the entire country hostage to her tumors. Man, fuck her and fuck the Supreme Court.

Part of me resents her for that but in the end we have voters to blame for this situation.

It’s not the voters fault if a candidate does nothing to inspire them — not even a simple visit to their state. Or worse, outright snubs a union-organised event with hundreds of potential voters.

Fuck Hillary ‘My Turn’ Clinton. The blame for the last 4 years rests solely on her shoulders.

Also voters chose Clinton by a big margin and she still lost. How are they to blame for a rigged electoral system, and Clinton's failure to pursue a strategy that worked within it?

What's wrong with conservative justices?

Leftism just destroys; it doesn't build anything. I can't believe I ever voted for Democrats. Never again!

I personally can't wait for Trump to replace RBG now. Although he's not guaranteed to be re-elected, he has much better odds than he did four years ago.

Got to love the genre of respectability politics that somehow is still pretending Obama and Trump don't exist in the same culture or timeline.

I’m curious how you explain the poll numbers after the RNC aired.

"Leftism" builds healthcare systems that are about taking care of sick people rather than treating them as cash cows.
It builds social safety nets that prevent the sort of rampant destitution and homelessness you get when there's unfettered capitalism.
Etc.

Also, Leftism makes you better in bed. It cured my tinnitus and improved my posture. I gained the ability to see for miles, and it gives me the power to communicate with birds and other small animals. I get a 10% discount at Argos, and I am regularly gifted expensive cheeses by admirers and those who fear my power. Cats respect me.

All thanks to good old Leftism. Honestly, shit's pretty great, I thoroughly recommend it.

Anyway, OT: Trump is a fanny, lol.

Frankly, I see what's goin on in the states and I'm very concerned. I believe the vast majority of people hate Trump and the face of Republican politics, but literally fear for their lives thanks to the Democratic riots. I'm fairly certain that if the Democrats win, it would be seen as condoning all of this violence and death - so even if in the chance the protestors are placated for a little while they will rise up again. But if the Republicans win, the results will likely be even more violent at first - with protestors expressing their rage - possibly followed by extensive police crackdowns, but over time the Democrats will recognize that encouraging protesting has been incredibly detrimental.

I mean, this was literally enough to sway support back to Trump after him fucking up the handling of the Covid crisis so badly.

As much as I want to, I really don't know what's going to happen. But as long as it doesn't cross the border it's not my immediate concern.

He’s just a straight shooter telling it like it is. I’m sorry that you’re too politically correct to see that. :oface:

Speaking of politically correct, I never like Trump more than when he shits on soldiers for no reason. It's by far the funniest thing he does.
