Hey guys New here just looking for pen pals or other interesting people to talk with. I'm something of a mathematician and would-be polymath; I also enjoy the arts and ecology. I studied drama and creative writing in hs but my passion has always been for the sciences. Kind of shy so don't be insulted if it takes me a while to respond to any posts or private messages. Hope everyone's doing ok and I look forward to all the friendly discussion.

I'm really enjoying the forum. It's much less frustrating than using messaging apps or dating websites to connect with other ppl. I've never had any close gay friends and I'd like to change that.

Not in particular, it's just a random star trek reference I had stuck in my head. Capt Trip is pretty sweet, it reminds me of my college days.

It's actually the nickname given to the disease from the novel the stand. But as soon as I made it my name I assumed people would think of that. Lol. The yovska avatar doesn't help me either.
